Start with the journey, not the price.
A journey that looks attractive on paper also needs to work on departure day. Check the advertised origin, destination, date and time. The same city may have several meeting points: allow enough time to reach the pickup point and continue your journey after arrival.
Do not plan a tight connection using the departure time alone. A shared ride depends on traffic and travelling conditions. Leave a margin that fits your needs, particularly if you have another booking afterwards.
Choose your travelling environment too.
Do you prefer an electric car, a recent vehicle or extra luggage space? Rydely filters refine your search using the details provided: make, model, year, energy source, transmission, comfort level and equipment.
A model name or category does not tell the whole story. Read the listing. A checked box describes equipment declared by the driver; it is not an independent vehicle inspection. If a feature is essential, choose a listing that clearly confirms it.
Think about what you are bringing.
A small suitcase and bulky equipment take up different amounts of space. Consider the number of passengers, boot information and the advertised luggage or pet conditions. Available seats do not guarantee unlimited storage space.
After booking, use the trip conversation to confirm practical details. Describe your needs simply: cabin luggage, a bag or a bulky item. A specific request is more useful than a long message at the last minute.
Check the total before committing.
Distinguish the base price per seat, the number of seats and service fees. Compare amounts covering the same things in the same currency. A contribution per seat is not the total for several travellers.
Rydely Plus, which is being prepared for launch, will not unlock filters or messaging: these features remain free. Its only planned benefit is lower passenger fees. You do not need a subscription to create an account or explore rides.
Prepare for the meeting.
Before departure, reread your booking details, check its status and make sure you know where to meet. Let the other participant know promptly if something goes wrong rather than leaving them without news.
Your Rydely account brings together your information, your vehicle if you drive, and your bookings. Start with an accurate profile and useful preferences: the best shared ride is one whose details everyone understands.
