1. Scope
These terms govern use of Rydely for the Swiss market and the bookings and payments offered by the platform when these functions are active. They are brought to the user’s attention before the contract is concluded.
2. Rydely’s role
Rydely provides digital matching infrastructure. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Rydely does not perform the transport itself: drivers remain responsible for the journeys they publish and their applicable obligations.
3. Concluding the contract online
Before a paid booking, the interface must allow users to check essential details, correct entry errors and clearly identify the step that creates a commitment. An order confirmation must be sent promptly by email where Swiss e-commerce rules require it.
Actual delivery of email confirmations is a prerequisite for launching the Swiss paid service and must not be replaced by an internal simulation.
4. Account, publishing and booking
- account information must be accurate and kept up to date;
- drivers publish journeys they plan to make on their own behalf;
- the number of seats and vehicle characteristics must reflect reality;
- the status shown by Rydely determines whether a booking is pending, confirmed, completed or cancelled.
5. Prices, fees and payment
Registration, search, publication and features are free; rides are paid within the legal limits of carpooling. Driver fee: 15% deducted from the per-seat base; passenger fee: 15% added, reduced to 5% with Rydely Plus. Plus is optional: EUR 49 including tax per year or CHF 45 including tax per year, according to the stated currency, with no extra feature and unchanged driver fees. These are fixed prices, not automatic currency conversions. Fees are rounded to the nearest cent on the booked total. Currency, total price and renewal terms are shown before acceptance. Real payments remain closed; cross-border tax treatment requires validation before sales.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Draft minimum policy: no invented flat-rate penalties or additional administrative fees. Mandatory withdrawal, restitution and remedy rights remain reserved; amounts unduly charged or due for an unprovided service are not retained as a matter of principle. Before payment: cancellation without collection fees. After payment: requests to info@rydely.ch, assessed according to the reason, service performed and applicable law; neither universal automatic refunds nor a universal absence of refunds is promised. The schedule by reason and actual refund processing must be finalised before real collection.
7. Revocation
Swiss law does not create a general right of cancellation solely because a purchase is made online. No additional contractual right to change one’s mind is added at this stage; mandatory rights, non-performance, undue amounts and applicable consumer protection rules, including French rules when applicable, remain reserved. Ending the subscription at its expiry does not remove these rights.
8. Trust, reviews and reports
Reviews are reserved for participants in bookings actually completed. Reports are examined through moderation and do not, on their own, result in an automatic sanction.
9. Liability
Rydely is responsible for its own obligations under applicable law. These terms do not limit liability that cannot validly be excluded or limited.
10. Contact and complaints
Enquiries may be sent to info@rydely.ch. Rydely first favours direct, documented resolution of disputes.
11. Applicable law
These terms are written for the service intended for the Swiss market. Mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction rules remain reserved.
Conditions and checks still to be finalised
- Eligibility, driving licence and insurance: Rydely requires no age, driving licence or insurance condition to create an account, as decided by the operator.
- Evidence of the terms presented: When an account is created by email, the box “I accept Rydely’s terms of use and privacy policy” must be ticked; otherwise the server refuses the sign-up. The accepted version of the terms and the date of acceptance are recorded on the account. Rydely keeps the text of each published version.
Choosing a domain or currency does not replace analysis of mandatory rules applicable to participants, the matching service and cross-border travel. This draft imposes no exclusive court jurisdiction.
